How to install iCloud on Windows Server |
I created a new Windows User Account and gave it administrative privileges. After I logged into this new account, I downloaded a copy of iCloudSetup.
I then logged out of this new account and switched back to my original account and voila iCloud was available. This may confirm that the icloud installation problem I was having on my system is indeed a corrupted Windows user profile. I will probably need to fix my corrupted user profile in the future so that Apple Software Update will be able to install the next iCloud update. My problem seems to be unique. After installing a Windows update several days ago, I can use iTunes and sync my iPhone however iCloud stopped working today.
After setting up another user profile to test iCloud, the iCloud Settings open up normally in that profile. Apple tech support was no help and suggested I contact Microsoft — we know how that goes… Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. BTW if you email me, I can provide my phone number or call you instead of going through messaging. Download iCloudSetup from the Apple website 2. Inside this directory should be about 8 files.

I suspected it would be an N version of Windows, Windows 'N' versions are versions of Windows that include everything expect media features, you said you have installed the media feature pack correct? After the restart, check the Windows Features list and see if you are able to install Windows Media Player, or if it is already installed. I am now having this same problem on two different Windows 10 computers. I've been searching and trying things for days to no avail.

Could you do the following for me: Hold down the windows key on your keyboard and press R in the run dialog box type msinfo32 From the info windows just post your OS name and Version number Also if you expand Software Environment and select Loaded Modules wait for the information to refresh, scroll down the list and let me know if you see anything labelled as windows. The only one that appears is "windows. So you do not have windows. Did you install it from here?
If so, try installing iCloud again. Installed the feature pack. No luck, nothing appears in the Windows features. Nothing appears after running msinfo Any other ideas?
